I can't find the games on Vista as above which are online (some) and very
popular on XP. These games available on XP are as follows: Free Cell,
Hearts, Internet Backgammon, Internet Checkers, Internet Hearts, Internet
Reversi, Internet Spades, Minesweeper, Pinball, Solitaire, Spider Solitaire.
It is possible for me to copy from XP C:\ Program Files\ "MSN Gaming
Zone\Windows\numerous games .exe file" and run on Vista? If not is it
possible to purchase this game set for Vista and use as on XP?
Thanks for your help.

Chris

What Vista version are you using? I have Vista Ultimate and it comes with
all these games you mentioned. I am pretty sure that Vista Home Premium and
up have them also.

If you're running Vista Business or Enterprise, the games by default are not
installed.

Find Programs and Features in Control Panel
Select Add Windows Features on the left
Check Games
Click OK

Search the start menu for Games Explorer, you'll have to put a shortcut to
it somewhere on your desktop or somewhere.

Also if you search Google for any of those games you'll find like a ton of
sites that offer free versions of these applications. I think you can login
to Microsoft Zone online and play all those games as well, they don't call
them casual for nothing. (Casual = More common than rocks)

I believe Chris is correct; the XP internet-games are not in Vista

If they are, someone tell us where

If they aren't, can they be made available and how

If you have Vista Business then the games aren't turned on by default

not sure if that's what you meant but it's worth making the comment.

Neil -

There are five XP games that allow a user to play the games online with
other users. Those five games do not appear to have been ported over to
Vista in any of its 'flavors.'

Anyone, anyone...
