When reviewing my update history via Windows update site I see a list with
all green but for the Security update for XP KB896424.
It shows a red x and a question mark. I have tried to reload it with all
firewall off but the same. If I try to uninstall it I get a list of some 10
programs that may fail if I do. Can I uninstall the update and reinstall it
again without causing a massive failure in the list of programs which may be
affected?
It did install orginally with the message that the installation was
successful.
