Rotten XP firewall...it seems to conflict with my Norton - it appears I am
not the only one.
How do I disable the XP update Firewall? Better yet - can I uninstall the
update all together?

Norton know about conflicts with SP2 and had advised
customers not to install until they had issued a patch.
There should be info on the Symantec website. I ditched
Norton ages ago.
