Is there a repair CD that I can get from Microsoft to fix the operating
system device drivers? I had to replace the motherboard in my eMachines box
and now my Windows operating system doesn't work.

All that I have is the original OS-restore CD that came with the machine.

Thanks,
Tom

Your original license was likely an OEM SLP version, which is tied to
specific information in the BIOS of the eMachines motherboard. If you
replace the motherboard with a non-eMachine part, the OS will no longer be
valid. You will need to purchase a new Retail or OEM copy of Windows, or
install the proper motherboard. OEM copies are tied to the first computer on
which they are installed. MS considers the motherboard to the "the computer"
for these purposes.
