XP Home : no update possible : 0x8007007E

Hello,

does anybody know, what happens: i have a new installed windows XP home on a
HP.
Windows update ist starting, then .. ready, nothing happens.

i look i the windowsupdate.log:

i have done a lot of things, but always the same:
new installing xml parser
regsvr32 for msxml3.dll and other msxml*.dll
regsvr32 for many oher dll. inseng oleaut32 ole32 urlmon mssip32
i have done sfc /scannow

the windows is a legal one, i used the original number which is place on
the HP PC. i registered windows by phone.

why updating windows is not possible? whats in this cas 0x8007007E?

it works!
the reason: wuapi.dll was not registered.
