I got the answer. I had same problem and found a forum that suggested this
and it worked! Download SP2 and when it tries to install go to safe mode and
do this.
Right click My computerthan click properties. Click Advanced tab than click
third button down ( system start settings ) click edit. Than edit the end of
last line (on my comp that was where it was). Change /Noexecute=opt In to
Noexecute=AlwaysOff. Than click ok and reboot. This worked great for me. The
forum did say to make a backup in case it dont but I had no troubles at all.
Hope this helps.
