xp home sp2 crash

I installed xp home's sp2 via automatic updates. After installation, anytime
I right-click on the Start button or any of my desktop icons the computer
would hour-glass for awhile, then the Taskbar would crash, and when it
finally reappeared many Tray icons are gone. I uninstalled the SP2 and all
seems well with the world again. It sure is nice to be able to right-click
when needed!

it. I have the same problem
, so I guess & hope that it's just a small mater of time
till we can crashless right click again. If you find the
solution I'd appreciate a shout
