Hi,

System details: XP Home 2002, Intel P4 2.8Ghz, 512Mb RAM, 40Gb free on C:.

When I try and install sp2 (downloaded from MS website, worked on other
pc's) I get the following msg: Setup error, 'The system cannot find the file
specified' & then: Setup error, Installation did not complete. System is free
of viruses/spyware and internet security is disabled before attempting to
install.

WU also does not work: Error code: 0x800B0001. Tried to install IE7, error:
a cryptographic program is missing??

If anyone could help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
