Downloaded and installed SP2 last weekend. When the PC was rebooted, a whole
raft of services which were set to start automatically had to be started
manually, e.g. Firewall, Network Connections, Print Spooler. After starting
the firewall & network connections services I tried to connect to the
internet (dial-up) and received a warning that the firewall could not be
started for this connection. Thought there might be some driver updates
required so I connected to windows update site only to get an error that I
did not have the rights to install updates. I've now restored back to pre-SP2
state - thankfully everything seems to working ok.
