Hardware: CPU Intel Quad Q9550 Bios P45XE WIFI N 1.00
Windows: Windows 7 Ultimate English with Italian Language pack

Bios settings:
Intel Virtualization Tech : Enabled
CPU Thermal Thoratting: Enabled
No-Execute Memory Protection: Enabled
Intel c-State Tech: Disabled

I download and istalled XP Mode (English and Italian Version). Then Virtual
Machine (file Windows6.1 KB958559-x86). When I try to istall it, I have the
following message:

"It is not possible update the computer"

Any idea?

TIA

Alberto - Italy

Do you have the latest BIOS update? After you enabled the Intel VT
did you to a hard reset of the computer, i.e. not just a reboot, but a
full shutdown? Sometimes the BIOS won't reload the settings on a
reboot for the VT settings.

Thks for your answer. I'm afraid I found the answer in italian News Group.
My Win 7 is a RC version, so not compatible with XP Mode. My PC is an
assembled one.
Any way I had many full shoutdown but whith the same error message.

Tks again
