XP Norton Ghost and Boot Diskettes

Hi

Could someone confirm what I think I've understood about Boot CD's

I have created an image of my 1st HD on the 2 nd HD.

I also have created a boot Diskette.

If Windows fails to boot, I can (depending on the problem), boot it with the
diskette and access ghost.exe which is a DOS system;

With ghost.exe , I can access the image of my 1st HD which is on the 2nd HD
and reinstall the image.

The instructions for ghost.exe have to be typed in using DOS commands

Is this more or less right?

I jsut need a confirmation or a pointer if I am wrong.
