Xp not loading up??

i downloaded service pack 2 for XP and after installing it the was a error
with my explorer, so i then reset my comuputer i how it will not load up. it
comes to a page asking if i would like to start it in safety mode, start
windows with the settings that last were working or start windows up but they
all don't work if you use safety mode it comes up with loads of drivers then
stops as does nothink else and if you start windows normaly it gets to the
boot up page the bar to tell you how much has loaded gets half way a stops
and nothink happens from then on. i do not know what to do can anyone help
please!!??

After performing a "Repair Install", reinstall SP2.

Well all this is well and good but it doesnt answer WHY we cant Download SP2??

I've tried twice now and it's locked my PC both times trying to install it..

Luckily the Repair mentioned does work and i dont lose any of my info..

BUT i want to install SP2 but cant....what do we do???.....Wait for thge
