XP PACK 2

IS THIS SAFE TO DOWNLOAD,WHEN I DOWNLOADED IT BEFORE,IT MESSED UP MY MACHINE
AND I COULDN`T GET PHOTO`S FROM MY DIGITAL CAMERA,NOT NOING NOTHING ABOUT
COMPUTERS,JUST ENOUGH TO GET BY,THE SHOP WHERE I GOT MY PC FROM,THEU
UNINSTALLED THE XP PACK 2,AND SAID THEY DIDN`T RECOMMEND ME TO INSTALL IT
AGAIN,BECAUSE AT THE MOMENT THERE ARE SOME TEETHING PROBLEMS WITH THE PACK,MY
COMPUTER KEEPS ASKING IF I WANT TO DOWNLOAD IT,AND I DON`T KNOW WHAT TO DO

Service Pack 2 has not changed and do not expect it to change.
Most problems associated with Service Pack 2 can be prevented by following
the Service Pack Installation checklist:

A quick fix for those unwilling or unable to do the job correctly is often
just to say skip it.
If they gave you no more than "THERE ARE SOME TEETHING PROBLEMS", then they
fall into this group.
Find a competent tech for the future.

Also, please do not use ALL CAPS in newsgroups.
ALL CAPS is considered shouting and rude.
