XP Pro SP3

After installing SP3 all Windows Updates fail to install. Never had any fail
before. Anyone know a fix?

I have exactly the same problem, and i don't want to uninstall SP3 to avoid
software damage in other aplications

I did uninstall and everything started working again.

Same issue here. I uninstalled SP3, downloaded ALL needed updates, then
installed SP3 after. Seemed to work for me. I also did a slipstream using
nlite so I don't have this issue again. It prevented\hid updates and stopped
live services from installing. Quite a pain. Don't use express either, use
custom, the express is what installed sp3 on mine but either way, I would do
the above.

Do a system restore to a point before SP3, this shouldn't cause app damage.
Then you can install your updates, then SP3.

Updates are not installed successfully from Windows Update, from Microsoft Update, or by
using Automatic Updates after you repair a Windows XP installation

I followed your suggestion and it works perfectly well. Thanks a lot. Only
one program was damaged but i reinstall it, and it's OK too.

After installing sp3 change your Internet explorer security settings to
"Medium" and all will work again
