XP Pro

Updated to XP PRO.... Mistake...... Cannot access any of the programs on C
drive (hard drive). They are all there they are just unaccessable. Lost of my
documents and photos. Instructed to save all document files prior to updating
to XP Pro. How do I manage to access my original programs.... Oh, ya.... No
sound either.

Try the XP General newsgroup since -

a) This is not a Windows/Microsoft Update issue
b) To put it politely, something is rotten in the state of Denmark
