The system requires the ASMS files from the home disk. A box opens titled
"Files needed" The text in the box reads " The file `asms' on Windows XP
Home Edition Service Pack 2 CD is needed
Type the path where the file is located, and then click OK.
Copy files from:
GLOBALROOT\DEVICE\CDROM0\I386
I cannot get past this point it is as though the CDROM Drive is not being
recognized during this setup process. I know that thee drive works it will
boot from the drive to repair the system but during the installation process
this is where the problem occurs. I tried this same disk on a different
system and it seemed to cause the same issue. I did a complete system
restore from disk and the XPHome SP1 took. I was hoping that by using the
XPPro i would be able to get past this problem.
