xp-pro won´t install updates

Hello!
My Computer won't install the updates, no error message.
I have try to install updates one by one, Won`t work.
Help me = )

Try to look again at your Windows Update log file, and "only" get the set of entries for the "last" date where "Error" is listed.
Posted back here (in a text attachment) the set of entries for that day.

Use Notepad or Wordpad and take a look at (usually C:\WINNT or \Windows )
%windir%\WindowsUpdate.log

Scan down to the bottom. Review contents.
You need to look for entries marked "Error" such as 0x......... (where ....... are numbers)

Mine says success, green check and all that, however, it continues to say i
have an update to install and the little shield pops in my task bar and each
time it's KB890830. It doesnt show in my list of updates in add remove
programs. but it says success on Mcrsft update page..???

this happenes a lot with this update. Nov and Dec and Feb same file # for
the month Also noted, file size changes... guessing on the first size like
1.2 but last check it said 5.4mb ... always says same thing.......
