XP Professional SP2 Error Code 87FF054F

When installing SP2, I receive an installation failure maessage with code
87FF054F. I am unsure how to resolve this so that I can get SP2 loaded.

Can you be more precise? I search in what I think is the SP2 website but I
did not find anything.

Hello I am also having the same problem when trying to update SP2. I get
Installation Failure
Error Code: 87FF054F
