I already posted once how you can see which updates were just installed
succesfully. Let's see if you can find it this time <w> :
... please list which updates were installed. The easiest way to do that
is to go to
Start > Run > copy and paste the below into the Open: line and then
click OK or press Enter
%windir%\softwaredistribution\reportingevents.log
The latest successfully installed updates are listed at the *bottom* of
the above log.

NOTE: IF Run is not on the Start Menu, add it by *right* clicking the
Start Menu, choose Properties.
Click the Customize button towards the bottom of the window.
Under Advanced Start menu options, scroll down to
" Display Run " and put a check in the box next to it.
Click OK, then Apply, then OK once more.
Got it ? BTW, I'm old, too. Heck, I remember the 1952 World Series !
