XP service pack 3 - blue screen of death

My mother has a dell inspirion desktop less than 1 year old. I installed
service pack 3 and when the computer restarted I got the blue screen of
death. I tried each option, safe mode, safe mode with dos prompt, etc.
Nothing worked - Does anyone have any suggestions?

SP3 free support

Service Pack 3 issues are f�ee support issues from Microsoft. I'd contact
them directly.

Error message after you upgrade a computer that uses a processor other than
an Intel processor to Windows XP Service Pack 2 or to Windows XP Service
