XP Service Pack download incomplete

When I was prompted to download the Service Park, the download was incomplete
and I am continually being prompted to install the SP, whereby it fails due
to missing components.

I have tried two things:
- Re-installing SP2, where the update site states I have "0kB" to download.
- Removing the install, however when I go to "add/remove" programs in
control panel I am not given this option to remove. The reference number
next to the file is KB810243.

Any Solutions?
