XP Service Pack1 downloads but installation is cancelled.

I have downloaded all of my critical updates but when I
try to do SP1, it will download and when I try to
install, it stops almost immediately and tells me SP1 is
cancelled. Someone please help me on this one!

Hi Randy,

The behavior can be caused by AntiSpy software intercepting the Service Pack
installation process.

1) Please uninstall the AntiSpy program

2) Register licdll.dll and regwizc.dll
Start>Run and type in the run box the following
regsvr32.exe licdll.dll

Press Ok

Start>Run and type in the run box the following

regsvr32.exe regwizc.dll OK

Press Ok


3) Attempt to install the service pack again.
