XP SP2 & .NET update

I just installed the updates listed and everything was fine on day one. This
morning I try and get on the internet and the only web sites I can access are
'https' secure web sites. All others give me the "unable to display page"
screen. After 2 hrs. of trouble shooting (turning on/off firewall, etc.) I
system restore to before I installed the SP. Everything is back to normal.
What is going on?

YEA, same thing happened here, can you give us an answer to our question???
