XP SP2 and Roxio

Since installing Ssevice Pack 2 I can no longer burn CDs
using Roxio's v5.3.5.10. The system locks up and the HDD
activity light glows a constant color. When I can get
taskmanager to come up, it shows low CPU activity and low
memory usage. The dreaded re-set button is my only escape,
but even on restart the HDD activity light is constant.
The solution is a complete shut-down. Does anyone have any
ideas???

Have you tried an un-install/re-install? Doing so has helped me with an
unresponsive Easy CD Creator in the past.

Hello Curt,
I tried that very thing and everything seems to be back to
normal. But, I also turned off the SP2 firewall feature. I
will try turning that back on and see what my results are.

You're welcome. I'm glad things turned out well. I've got Roxio 6 running on
4 desktops and a laptop, all with the SP2 firewall turned on. Roxio 6
functions like it should on all of them. Chances are you won't have any
problems.
