XP SP2 AUTO_UPDATE_Installation Said FAILED!? Handle Error

Hello..I has my XP PRO running with AUTOMATIC UPDATE ENABLED. It said that it
downloaded the XP SP2 updates..Started installing it..

Then CRASHED (stayed in Windows Never left desktop)..SAYING Window's Update
FAILED...even though it started to doing the inventory and ; made a restore
point ..etc.

How can I re-start this process over..as I don't find any " setup "
execitable file(s) on the hard drive anywhere.?

There's a Windows XP SP2 in the add/remove ..ShouldI uninstall this or ( go
back to the RESTORE POINT and then LET Automatic Windows Update - re-initate
the downloads over..However I am on SLOW dial-up so will take
awhile...(sigh)..
