XP SP2 disappeared...

I recently received an notification from MS via auto-update that SP2 was
available for download. When i try to update using windows update i get no
notification that SP2 is available for download from the site. I'm
confused...is it available or not? If it is available, why aren't I getting
any indications that it is?

I've turned my settings to receive updates so it isn't that either.

I downloaded SP2 on 9 Aug from the Microsoft download site. Did not use
automatic - I downlaoded the 270+Mb file and then ran the update. You can do
the same. Look for WindowsXP-KB835935-SP2-ENU.exe

Either download directly or wait...WU was just telling you that it will
arrive - whenever. There are 100 million + users to download to and it
takes time.
