I'm trying to fix my nieces pc as she is having a lot of little system
annoyances popping up along with a windows update that cannot install and
gives an error message that the SP2 install was incomplete. It recommends
uninstalling SP2 and reinstalling. From what I have read, this will require
that any programs installed since the SP2 incomplete installation will be
deleted with it and need to be reinstalled. I have the SP2 CD which I
ordered from Microsoft. My question is this. Can I just reinstall the SP2
over the old one?
