SP-2 does work on the majority of computers.
If the tech is telling you to uninstall SP-2 knowing no more than you
installed SP-2, then the tech is incompetent and/or lazy.
Most problems are simple reconfigurations necessitated because of the
added security of SP-2.
Others are fixed by patches or updates from the hardware or software
manufacturers.
It is easier fort the tech to have you uninstall then help you to fix
the problems.
