XP SP2:Registry Permission Errors--HELP!

Hello. My parentals' computer is now hooked on high speed, so I've been over
there getting it all up to date. SP2 is failing the install becuse I have
insufficient permission in some random registry keys. I've followed the help
article (wish is time consuming). It says I need to enable verbose logging,
install SP2, make it fail, UN-install it, look at the logs, update the
permissions on that ONE KEY! Lather, rinse, repeat. It's taken HOURS to fix 2
keys. Does anyone know how to quickly/easily fix the permmissions in the
entire registry at once?
