XP SP2 update error

During downloading of Windows XP SP2 update, the first thing noticed is that
the download file size is 0KB. When I download it eventually gets to a point
and then the error " access Denied" window pops up. Anyone know how or what
or why this is happening?

1. You need to be logged in with local admin rights.
2. try checking your browsers proxy setings. Are you behind a firewall that
requires authentication?
