Hi
It looks like you have a BITS issue (Background Intelligent
Transfer Service)
BITS Return Values
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/en...asp?frame=true
BG_E_VOLUME_CHANGED
0x8020000E
The destination volume, specified in the local file name, has
changed. For example, the original floppy disk has been replaced
with a different floppy disk.
You should clean out this folder (WU5's temporary download
folder) to get rid of the SP2 temporary installation files from
your failed installation and see if that helps:
%windir%\SoftwareDistribution\
(%windir% is typically C:\Windows)
You can use the procedure described here:
http://v5.windowsupdate.microsoft.co...cleid=11&ln=en
If SP2 installs sucessfully then, I suggest that you after the
installation deletes the %windir%\SoftwareDistribution\Download folder
again to regain some disk space (if you want to keep your WU history,
don't delete the DataStore folder the second time.)
If nothing of the above fix your problem, I suggest you download the
full SP2 installation and use it to install SP2.
SP2 is available at the Microsoft Download Center
(standalone"network" version, 266 MB):
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...5-9e368d3cdb5a
If you think that download is to large, you can get the same
file on a CD from Microsoft.
