XP SP2 upgrade fails

Tried to install XP SP2 once more.
Start failed after installation.
Starting in Safe mode OK with agp440.sys listed as last driver.
Removed agp440.sys
Normal start failed.
Starting in save mode OK with GBDevice.sys listed as last driver.
Removed GBDevice.sys
Normal start failed.
Starting in save mode OK with GoBack2K.sys listed as last driver.
Removed GoBack2K.sys.
Normal start failed.
Save mode start failed too (restarting over and over).
Restored old situation of 2 hours earlier with GoBack from pre-boot.
I'm trying since 2 months to get SP2 installed.
Please help.
