Why does the virus protection in the security center
report that the antivirus is installed, but its status is
unknown?

Because the Security Center can not monitor the status.
It can not tell if your AV program is up to date.

Many AV companies have already posted updates so theirs can be
monitored by the Security Center.
Others have not.
Make sure you have the latest AV updates.
Otherwise contact the manufacturer and ask if they are updating so
their AV can be monitored by the Security Center.
