XP SP3 Hosed Media Center Player

I made the mistake of updating to XP SP 3 last night and completely killed my
Media Center player. Whenever it tries to load it comes up with these two
errors: "An exception 'System.Runtime InteropServices. COMException' has
occurred in ehshell.exe." The next error says "Anexception 'Unhandled Win32
Exception' has occured in ehshell.exe"

I have tried to do a System Restore about five times and uninstalled through
the Add/Remove programs the XP SP3 update, but nothing works. HELP.

My first suggestion - visit the hardware manufacturer's web page (assuming
since this is media center edition - this is a 'big box' computer so you can
visit just one place) and get all the latest hardware drivers for your
operating system installed. Motherboard, sound and Video at least.

Re-install SP3 using the IT download.
