It will most probably be included on magazine cover discs soon, as previous
service packs have been over the years.

I downloaded it though BitTorrent in under five minutes, at 800KB/s.

Please do not provide links to illegal Bit Torrent downloads.
There is no assurance the file has not been maliciously tampered with.

Since when was it illegal to distribute service packs?

There have already been reports that users have downloaded
SP3 from Bit Torrent sites and ended up with a tampered file
which resulted in corrupting their system when installing.
Plenty of these cases already documented in the Microsoft
TechNet forums.

It is Against Microsoft's EULA To Download Any Of Their Software Through Peer
To Peer Software, Just FYI. If You Are Looking 4 Something Legal 2 Download
Through Bit Torrent, Try Open Source Linux Ubuntu 8.04 LTS, With Ubuntu's
Open Source License Agreement, Bit Torrent Downloads Of Ubuntu Is 100%
Perfectly Legal (They Even Host Them On Ubuntu.Com), Just FYI.

P.S. I Personally Wish That They Would Make Windows Vista Service Pack One
Update Disks As Well (Made 2 Order), I Am Lucky Enough 2 Have A High Speed
Internet Connection So I Did Not Have 2 Worry About Downloading The 1.4
Gigabyte DVD (I Am Currently Duel Booting Between Vista SP1 And Ubuntu 8.04
LTS), Windows Update Does Not Offer Service Pack One On My 3 Computer's
Running Vista, The Service Pack One Downloads Are Very Huge 4 Those People
Using Dial Up Connections (I Know Their Pain, As I Used 2 Be On Dial Up 4 A
Very Long Time), Also Just FYI.

What are the problems that came up? Has anyone been prosecuted for
tampering? I presume one would only know that the file has been tampered
with when it is too late. Sad.
Cheers.
