XP Update...now I'm hosed

XP, Norton IS, Norton Antivirus, Windows Antispyware. Everything was
working great. Had some updates that needed to install...fine. After tey
installed, Norton & Spyware started going crazy. Figured it was part of te
install so I gave permissions to a lot of things. Now I can't open Windows
Explorer. Ran the Antispyware....All kinds of hits. WTF !! Had a nice
clean system, now t is compromised. Any help would be appreciated.

I am sorry you are hitting this issue. The updates installed without issue,
though, so it seems to me that ye issue you are encountering would be better
solved by those in the following 2 newsgroups:

microsoft.public.windowsxp.help_and_support
microsoft.public.windowsxp
