XP Update Vs. Microsoft proxy client!

While trying to update windows MS proxy 2, blocks it, if I bypass proxy it
can update. with proxy I can browse internet.

Other systems win98/2000 work properly while updating.

Does any onw know what do I have to do on proxy client to fix this,
currently I have to bypass my XP machines & connect them directly to router
for updating.

Hi

I would think configuring your proxy server to allow anonymous
access to the relevant Windows Update sites is what you need to do.
