XP WGA update fails - help

I have a month-old Dell XP system that does Windows updates fine,
except for WGA updates. They fail.

Any idea what I should do about this ?

If you are referring to update 905474, then download and install:

http://www.download.windowsupdate.co...d496154544.exe

Then re-boot Windows. Does this solve your problem?
