Hello Ed here. Dwnld'd and installed SP2....didn't shutdown NortonAV or
Zonealarm FW before hand.big mistake on my part. Took several calls and
several hours to UNDO SP2 and the mess...recovery console from XPCD and
REGEDIT etc. MicroSoft very helpfull and patient though.

Several necessary items need to be understood before installing...please
read any and all you can find, including from your PC mfg. and GO HERE

Better yet order CD and wait to install until received..see Micro for details.
