xpsp2 install problems

I installed the RTM version from the full download,
everything seemed fine until the reboot. Much bad
stuff. Lots of services won't start. (Crypto, RPC, DHCP
client, others...). The task bar won't show open tasks,
it's just a small bar. Can't get the start menu to come
up, even with the windows key. Can't use System restore
to go back, says it can't protect the computer. Can't
uninstall SP2, says it can't find a file, but not which
one. Can't reinstall SP2, it needs crypto to verify one
of the files in the package. Can't even copy/paste
files.

VERY BAD!

Any ideas?
