yahoo messenger problem

This is probably the wrong place to post this question but the last couple
of days my yahoo messenger keeps popping up on the monitor. I close it but
shortly it pops up again. Kind of annoying. It never did this before just
the last couple of days. I've had it on my computer for a long time and no
problems before. Anyone have any idea what's causing this?

You were right. This is the wrong place.

I would check for malware.
Check your settings, was it recently upgraded?
If all else fails, uninstall and reinstall it.

repair your yahoo messenger and install the latest version of it....
