So, if u know anything about starcraft
u know about its multiplayer capabilities

online works well and all except that i cant create a game of my own
for people to join...

ill create a popular game and no one will join even after its up for 10
minutes

ive read about other people with these problems and they were able to
identify that the game the created wouldnt even show up on the list
(they had vista as well)

if u have any ideas just throw down a reply

i wud appreciate it

You might check your firewall. The firewall prevents others from talking to
your computer (in case they are hackers).

Check your firewall for any apps its denying.
If you use the built-in Vista one, go to control panel - Windows Firewall,
click "Change Settings", look through the "Exceptions" list and see if you
see anything that looks like it belongs to starcraft, it should have a
checkbox
(which means its allowed to talk through the firewall). You can turn these
on and off at will so it allows you to experiment.

Hope that helps!

Unless you create a Public Battle.net game, Starcraft will disallow data
transfer through routers, ICS, and such devices. Be sure to enable port
forwarding in your router, if you use one.
