When I run Update I get this

Windows Update cannot continue because a required service application is
disabled. Windows Update requires the following services:
Automatic Updates enables detection, downloading, and installation of
critical updates for your computer.
Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) enables faster, restartable
downloading of updates.
Event Log logs Windows Update events for troubleshooting. To ensure that
these services are enabled:

1. Click Start, and then click Run.
2. Type services.msc and then click OK.
3. In the list of services, right-click the service name, and then click
Properties.
4. In the Startup type list, select Automatic.
5. Verify that the service status is started

this service is running and set to auto though and still it wont work.
Anyone got any Ideas please Thanks

Not a problem just enable "Auto Update"

Not just enable, set to AUTOMATIC, manual start won't work.

Hi, Borg;

In addition to having the AutoUpdate service set to Automatic, check that
the BITS service is not Disabled. If you want, you can set that to
Automatic also.

It may be that you are having trouble getting the new BITS 2.0 update to
install. Probably a good idea to download/install that manually from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

Last, be sure you are running with an account that has full Admin
privileges.
