Can anyone please help - I have searched the usergroups for answers but can't
seem to find a straight answer......... I created a folder under
C:\Users\Mark (Username) for Quickbooks files. I now want to change the
folder name but Vista tells me I do not have the required permissions to do
this. I am the only User on my PC, I am the administrator, I have changed
ownership of the folder to myself but Vista will not allow me to change it! I
have the problem time and time again.....I am beginning to HATE Vista becuase
of this. I work for myself and I do not have th etime for this nonsense!.
Please can anyone help me get control of my own PC!!!!

Hi stick2,

Are you also getting a "The File or Folder does not exist" error
message with it? If you are, then this may help you.

Hope this helps,

Here's the "fix".
Add "Take Ownership" to right-click menu in Vista
