Oh but I do! I bought two apts in Paris when the dollar was worth almost
11 French Francs (mid '80s) paying cash for both of them. A total of
about $70,000USD. I rented them out for almost 20 yrs (nice income!). I
also purchased a condo at Le Grande-Motte in '94 for $30,000USD ( a
steal!). I sold one of the Paris apts in '06 for a little over $200,000
Euros and bought a house in Louviers, (Upper Normandy). I just completed
the sell of the condo at the Motte for around $197,000 Euros.
So I now have two places in France. A house in Louviers and a Paris
apartment. I own both free and clear and I have mucho Euros in the BofA
in Paris.
