Your contact list does not have anyone on it

This may have been answered already. If so, please point me to the solution.

I just upgraded to Live Messenger and now I have no one in my contact list.
Live Messenger is working for me on my work computer, just not on my home
computer. The connection looks good. How do I get my contact list to show up?
