Your message could not be delivered to one more recipients... blah blah blah
blah

OK, seriously.
That message is SO annoying.
What's the cause of it? It's just weird and random and annoying.
I'm online, they're online. They can speak to me, I just can't speak to
them.

ANyone?

I haven't had this happen but does it appear to be connected? There's no
firewall blocking it or anything? (Just in case you know - triple check that
I guess before trying this.)

If I were to come across this then I think I'd uninstall the program, delete
any associated files, and then re-install it. As a REALLY strange
alternative (call me insane if you'd like) I'd log on to Windows Messenger
(the one that came with the PC as opposed to the one you downloaded) and see
if you can send/receive messages with that. It's likely that firewall rule
sets won't match application so that won't rule out firewall but in the
first beta I had some funky issues and as a lark tried that and it fixed it.
Yes, yes... Not much to go on really.

Last but not least I'd listen to hear what Mr. Kay has to say about it. ;-)
He eats, sleeps, and breaths WLM/MSN Messenger for breakfast I think.

I have already done everything that you hav suggested Galen, it seems to be
a flaw in the script somewhere, other contacts on my list also have the same
problem. Another strange problem i have is signing in ( look at subject
sign-in error). I do not think they are linked though. Windows Messenger is
fine and so is Messenger 7.5

LOL Probably best to bug it I guess and revert to the older software for
now? I'm not able to reproduce it on a few installs here but I'm quite
certain we've all got different applications installed and varied
configurations beyond belief. I have had it drop packets on a bad connection
and give me the message but reconnecting seemed to fix that. I'm not sure if
it was trying to use more bandwidth than my rather limited narrowband can
take or if it is maybe just fussier with dropped packets?
