Zip File

I downloaded the redistributable file for the .NET fix and cannot get it to
unzip. It is file dotnetfx. I do have zip/unzip capabilities on my system but
it will not give me the option of doing it. Any suggestions?

What happens when you double click on the file (it's not a zip file)?

it may not be from microsoft it may not even be a file

Its an exe not a zip file so windows zip can't open it you should get
izarc or any of the free zip programs then try to extract the files
with one of them.
