I have this message on the front page of WSUS

"1 non-critical, non-security-related updates have not been approved or
    declined"

Yet when I click to approve or decline it, no updates show.

  2. That's a miscategorized Exchange 2003 update that's been around forever.

Create a Custom View on the updates page for All Updates and keyword
"Exchange". It should pop up in that view as a "Not Approved" update.

    Thanks!

It was actually an Exchange 200 update that was listed as the status of
"Bundled". When I declined it, the message went away.
