I have a Windows 2003 server that runs for a day then in the middle of the
    night when it
is idle starts with a 1058 error. After that I start getting 1053 and 1030
errors. Client computers work fine. After this starts the server cannot get
out on the Internet but it can ping internet domain names and get DNS
resolution. The server cannot print to printers that are using share names
but I can browse computers by name. I can ping by using the domain name but
I cannot connect to the share by \\domain name\sysvol.

I have enterd an entry into the host file for domain name and ip address but
this appears to not help. When I tried to restart the DNS service I get that
the RPC server is not responding but there is not an option to restart the
RPC service. Also at that point I cannot connect to active directory.

This server has run fine for about a year until two weeks ago when I got a
    call that they couldn't print.

Has anyone seen this problem or have suggestion on how to fix it. I don't
want to just tell the customer to reboot every morning.

    Thank you,
